We will learn the basics of how to improvise melody and lyrics of a song and how to apply these elements within a scene. We will start to practice creating music within song structures that will make you look like a magician on stage. You will walk away from this course with the initial training necessary for long form musical improv competency which is also the prerequisite to further your study of improvising a full length musical (a.k.a. a musical narrative or long form musical). No grad show. \nPrerequisite: Musical Fun Times and permission from the instructor. Priority spots reserved for students who have most recently completed Musical Fun Times.
