Sunday Night Improv Workshop
Our workshop is a lively, engaging experience that leads directly into our show. Every Sunday, you can join us to practice scenes and learn about story-based improv, guided by a variety of great teachers. Sunday 4-6, always free.

Sunday Night Improv
Our show is a natural extension of the workshop. A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform, including Sandi Armstrong, Alain Mercieca, Heidi Lynne Weeks, Maité Sinave, Mariana Vial, Adalia Pemberton, Solly Krygier-Paine, Kristina Guevarra, Mason Persaud, Shanthony Exum, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit, which is the backbone to improv.
Always entertaining, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

Come see Love, Sharks & Frenching: a hot date w/ Lou Laurence at Montreal Fringe! Winner of Best Solo Show, Best Music Show, runner up for Best Show with Improv at Victoria Fringe, Love, Sharks & Frenching is a one-of-a-kind date that’s part musical and part comedy. Lou’s jazzy-soulful voice weaves hilarious tales with sexy songs to get you frenching like a Montrealer and feeling romantic.

The M BAR welcomes you to its wonderful space every WEDNESDAY NIGHT from 6pm to 7:30pm, for a fun, engaging, and interactive introduction to the skills of improvised comedy. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just curious about improv, our workshops offer a no-commitment opportunity to explore and enjoy the art of improvisation.Come meet new people, learn new skills, and share an evening of laughs with us in a relaxed, and supportive environment. Room for One More?
To perform at the top of their game, improv duos work hard to foster trust, chemistry, and synergy. So what happens when all of that is disrupted?
In ROOM FOR ONE MORE, four established duos will have their sets infiltrated by the Wildcards, performers who love to stir things up and cause chaos.
Will our intrepid duos manage to hold on for dear life and get things back on track, or will their sets descend into madness? Either way, you’re in for a good time.

Trouabdour – Old School Edition
A musical guest will begin the evening by performing a selection of original songs. A group of Montreal’s best improvisers will then use the musician’s lyrics and banter as inspiration for their scenes.
This month features' singer songwriter JC Pigeon, as well as a cast of old school improv performers!
