Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just curious about improv, our workshops offer a no-commitment opportunity to explore and enjoy the art of improvisation.Come meet new people, learn new skills, and share an evening of laughs with us in a relaxed, and supportive environment.     THURSDAYS / 6:30PM / 90 MINS + FREE ENTRY TO THE EVERY THURSDAY IMPROV SHOW

    Swing by for an hour and a half drop-in improv workshop for adults! These exciting drop-in classes are open to improvisers of all levels, whether you're just starting out or you want to hone your skills. Practice makes perfect and this weekly workshop will get your head back in the game, introduce new concepts and give you the workout you need to keep moving forward in improv!

    ALL LEVELS WELCOME / BEGINNERS TO EXPERIENCED / AGE 18+
    Workshops will be taught by experienced improvisers/teachers, and will be held in Studio B. These drop-ins are instructed in English and tend to fill up fast. Registration is highly recommended to reserve your spot, and it's best to do so on Monday or Tuesday.

    $15 IN ADVANCE VIA E-TRANSFER / OR / $20 IN PERSON BEFORE CLASS IF SPACE REMAINS.

    The only thing that ain’t for sure? What we plan on doing! Each week, the formats, concepts and plans change.

    Ready for a night where you can laugh and scream? Yes and MTL presents Doubles, featuring two hilarious improv shows: Flip Flop and Wheel Talk.

    In Flip Flop, three dynamic teams face off in an improv showdown where YOU, the audience, decide the winner! Get ready to cheer for your favorites in this high-energy competition.

    Wheel Talk, is a show where our players spin the wheel to tackle quirky challenges, some of which might even get the audience involved in the fun! Get set for surprises, laughs, and maybe your moment in the spotlight.

    Our workshop is a lively, engaging experience that leads directly into our show. Every Sunday, you can join us to practice scenes and learn about story-based improv, guided by a variety of great teachers. Sunday 4-6, always free.

  • Sunday Night Improv

    Theatre Saint Catherine 264 St Catherine St E, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

    Our show is a natural extension of the workshop. A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform, including Sandi Armstrong, Alain Mercieca, Heidi Lynne Weeks, Maité Sinave, Mariana Vial, Adalia Pemberton, Solly Krygier-Paine, Kristina Guevarra, Mason Persaud, Shanthony Exum, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit, which is the backbone to improv.

    Always entertaining, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.
