    FEST OF THE FEST presents EASY ACTION at the 2025 St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival! EASY ACTION is an improvised tale created in the moment by Brent Skagford and Marc Rowland. They combine precise physical work, child-like play and high emotional stakes to create stories to delight any audience. Delighting audiences they will on June 14, when they cook up a special edition of their hit show! Now in their 16th year of collaboration, they have performed Easy Action in Montreal, Edmonton, Ottawa, Vancouver, Toronto, Philadelphia, Cambridge, Brighton, and London.

    Our workshop is a lively, engaging experience that leads directly into our show. Every Sunday, you can join us to practice scenes and learn about story-based improv, guided by a variety of great teachers. Sunday 4-6, always free.

    Vlad's world of sound is a immersive experience for the performers and the audience. Vlad leads the performers and audience in a world of sounds and texture that elevates the art of improv to another level. Alongside experienced performers this novel improv show is an interactive event that gives power to the audience to decide what happens next. Come alongside Vlad to be immersed!

  • M Bar Improv: Wednesday Night Workshops

    The M BAR welcomes you to its wonderful space every WEDNESDAY NIGHT from 6pm to 7:30pm, for a fun, engaging, and interactive introduction to the skills of improvised comedy. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just curious about improv, our workshops offer a no-commitment opportunity to explore and enjoy the art of improvisation.Come meet new people, learn new skills, and share an evening of laughs with us in a relaxed, and supportive environment. Only $5 per session – see you there!

  • The Weekly

    THURSDAYS / 6:30PM / 90 MINS + FREE ENTRY TO THE EVERY THURSDAY IMPROV SHOW

    Swing by for an hour and a half drop-in improv workshop for adults! These exciting drop-in classes are open to improvisers of all levels, whether you're just starting out or you want to hone your skills. Practice makes perfect and this weekly workshop will get your head back in the game, introduce new concepts and give you the workout you need to keep moving forward in improv!

    ALL LEVELS WELCOME / BEGINNERS TO EXPERIENCED / AGE 18+
    Workshops will be taught by experienced improvisers/teachers, and will be held in Studio B. These drop-ins are instructed in English and tend to fill up fast. Registration is highly recommended to reserve your spot, and it's best to do so on Monday or Tuesday.
