A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform\, including Sandi Armstrong\, Alain Mercieca\, Heidi Lynne Weeks\, Maité Sinave\, Mariana Vial\, Adalia Pemberton\, Solly Krygier-Paine\, Kristina Guevarra\, Mason Persaud\, Shanthony Exum\, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers\, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in\, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit\, which is the backbone to improv. \nAlways entertaining\, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform\, including Sandi Armstrong\, Alain Mercieca\, Heidi Lynne Weeks\, Maité Sinave\, Mariana Vial\, Adalia Pemberton\, Solly Krygier-Paine\, Kristina Guevarra\, Mason Persaud\, Shanthony Exum\, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers\, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in\, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit\, which is the backbone to improv. \nAlways entertaining\, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

When you are grounded in a scene\, you know instinctively who your character is and how they feel; you won’t have to struggle with figuring out what to do next. You can be bold\, free\, and have much more fun! We will use The Meisner Acting Technique (repetition exercises)\, which trains actors to be better listeners\, observers\, more in touch with their instincts\, more sensitive\, and in turn respond truthfully to their partners and circumstances\, with clarity and direction. This work puts the focus on deep listening\, connecting\, character point-of-view\, behaviour\, impulses\, and reactions\, which will lead to more organic\, dramatic\, and fun improv scenes. You will also gather some tools and training to help strengthen your technical stage skills\, vocal and physical abilities\, presence\, boldness\, and character development.
