If it's the weekend you know there's a comedy storm brewing at MILE END IMPROV! Every single Saturday we put together a brand new improvised comedy show starring many of the very best performers in Montreal! Don't miss out on an hour's worth of offbeat comedy delivered the way only Mile End Improv can provide!

All our comedy happens at THEATRE VME, a cozy black box in Montreal's hip Mile End neighbourhood and the only Montreal comedy venue ever nominated for a Fringe award!

In Double Feature, two talented and hilarious groups of improvisers will improvise a 30-minute film based on audience suggestions. The first will be “Toy Movie”. The second film will be “Escape the Loop”.

Toy Movie:
Did you love the Barbie Movie? Come see your next favourite toy get its own movie. The cast consists of Christian H.C., Michael G., Dave M., Katie O., Max L., Gavin B., and Grant B.

Escape the Loop:
Do you love time loop movies like Groundhog Day? Come see a fully improvised time loop narrative performed by Fraud Department (Alex D., Stevie L., Sam D., Victor B., Will U., Rachel H., and Dan F.)

Our show is a natural extension of the workshop. A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform, including Sandi Armstrong, Alain Mercieca, Heidi Lynne Weeks, Maité Sinave, Mariana Vial, Adalia Pemberton, Solly Krygier-Paine, Kristina Guevarra, Mason Persaud, Shanthony Exum, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit, which is the backbone to improv.

Always entertaining, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

An Improvised Escape Room Murder Mystery

Join us for an evening of intrigue and excitement as we dive into a thrilling improvised escape room experience!

A murder has taken place, and we need YOUR help to uncover the truth!

Put on your detective hats and get ready to solve the mystery! We’ve got a night filled with puzzles, clues, and twists to help you identify the KILLER!

THURSDAYS / 6:30PM / 90 MINS + FREE ENTRY TO THE EVERY THURSDAY IMPROV SHOW

Swing by for an hour and a half drop-in improv workshop for adults! These exciting drop-in classes are open to improvisers of all levels, whether you're just starting out or you want to hone your skills. Practice makes perfect and this weekly workshop will get your head back in the game, introduce new concepts and give you the workout you need to keep moving forward in improv!

ALL LEVELS WELCOME / BEGINNERS TO EXPERIENCED / AGE 18+
Workshops will be taught by experienced improvisers/teachers, and will be held in Studio B. These drop-ins are instructed in English and tend to fill up fast. Registration is highly recommended to reserve your spot, and it's best to do so on Monday or Tuesday.

$15 IN ADVANCE VIA E-TRANSFER / OR / $20 IN PERSON BEFORE CLASS IF SPACE REMAINS.

Witness two of Montreal’s best improv teams clash in Head 2 Head - a thrilling showdown of wit and spontaneity! You’ll laugh! You’ll cry (tears of joy)!

With a whopping 25 minutes each, these talented troupes will unleash their improv prowess in a bid to win over the audience.

It’s the spectators who hold the power, casting their votes for the standout act. Triumph could mean fame, glory, approval from the improv gods, and a (small) CASH PRIZE!

A beautiful oration of improv artists come together to showcase how a scene can be transformed into a memorable song, similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway.

With live musician John Gilbert, musical improv coach Adina Katz, and our host Sandi Armstrong we are set to make history.
