A narrative improv show inspired by time loop films like Groundhog Day and Palm Springs! Join us as we relive the same day over and over and over again. Will we ever escape the loop?

Our show is a natural extension of the workshop. A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform, including Sandi Armstrong, Alain Mercieca, Heidi Lynne Weeks, Maité Sinave, Mariana Vial, Adalia Pemberton, Solly Krygier-Paine, Kristina Guevarra, Mason Persaud, Shanthony Exum, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit, which is the backbone to improv.

Always entertaining, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

5 different groups will create "slice of life" / dramatic improv that will still be funny because life is absurd!

All our comedy happens at THEATRE VME, a cozy black box in Montreal's hip Mile End neighbourhood and the only Montreal comedy venue ever nominated for a Fringe award!

In Double Feature, two talented and hilarious groups of improvisers will improvise a 30-minute film based on audience suggestions. The first will be “Toy Movie”. The second film will be “Escape the Loop”.

Toy Movie:
Did you love the Barbie Movie? Come see your next favourite toy get its own movie. The cast consists of Christian H.C., Michael G., Dave M., Katie O., Max L., Gavin B., and Grant B.

Escape the Loop:
Do you love time loop movies like Groundhog Day? Come see a fully improvised time loop narrative performed by Fraud Department (Alex D., Stevie L., Sam D., Victor B., Will U., Rachel H., and Dan F.)
