Musical Fun Times is a great introduction to the art of musical improv, as well as a strong foundation for basic improv comedy and stage performance. For those who are curious about musical improv, who want to give it a try without jumping into performance (…yet?), or for more experienced musical improvisers who want to go back and reinforce the foundations without all the structure and song forms, this class is accessible to all levels and is super fun and free stylin’ – it definitely lives up to its name!

This course is designed for anyone who wants to begin their musical improv journey, gaining practice and acquiring skills to sing and create group musical comedy songs and scenes in a no-pressure environment.

Watch as teams of three, led by our charismatic captains, go head-to-head in hilarious challenges.

Polite Mutiny and Friendly Crews

Get ready for a wild ride of improv as three friendly troupes come together to create a fully fleshed-out narrative right before your eyes!

But there’s a catch: none of the teams know what’s happening!

Each troupe will take the stage, starting fresh with an audience suggestion and continuing with only one key piece of information—a summary of what just happened, straight from YOU, the audience!

Plot twists and turns as the teams build on each other’s ideas, crafting the beginning, middle, and end in real-time. Expect the unexpected, because every moment is a surprise for both the performers and the audience!

The grand finale? Polite Mutiny—the 2024 Montreal Improv Threepio winners—will take the stage to wrap up this improv extravaganza with their signature flair.

This is improv like you’ve never seen before, and you won’t want to miss it!
