Swing by for an hour and a half drop-in improv workshop for adults! These exciting drop-in classes are open to improvisers of all levels, whether you're just starting out or you want to hone your skills. Practice makes perfect and this weekly workshop will get your head back in the game, introduce new concepts and give you the workout you need to keep moving forward in improv!

ALL LEVELS WELCOME / BEGINNERS TO EXPERIENCED / AGE 18+
Workshops will be taught by experienced improvisers/teachers, and will be held in Studio B. These drop-ins are instructed in English and tend to fill up fast. Registration is highly recommended to reserve your spot, and it's best to do so on Monday or Tuesday.

A team of A+ improvisers watch the first 5 minutes of a B-rank movie and improvise the rest!

In At The Movies a team of improvisers watch the first five minutes of an obscure 80s B-movie that none of them have seen before and then improvise the rest of the story live on stage.

This month will feature a cheesy (forgotten) action flick!

Yes And...Dragons is a completely improvised spectacle that mixes the thrill of tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder, with the hilarity and spontaneity of improvised comedy.

Join us for the first season of this four-part epic, unfolding over four months. Dive into a riveting interactive narrative filled with suspense, laughs, daring escapades, and the luck of dice rolls

Adventure Dates
January 25th, February 22nd, March 29th, and April 26th, all at 9:30PM

Our show is a natural extension of the workshop. A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform, including Sandi Armstrong, Alain Mercieca, Heidi Lynne Weeks, Maité Sinave, Mariana Vial, Adalia Pemberton, Solly Krygier-Paine, Kristina Guevarra, Mason Persaud, Shanthony Exum, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit, which is the backbone to improv.

Always entertaining, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

Get ready for a wild ride of improv as three friendly troupes come together to create a fully fleshed-out narrative right before your eyes!

But there’s a catch: none of the teams know what’s happening!

Each troupe will take the stage, starting fresh with an audience suggestion and continuing with only one key piece of information—a summary of what just happened, straight from YOU, the audience!

Plot twists and turns as the teams build on each other’s ideas, crafting the beginning, middle, and end in real-time. Expect the unexpected, because every moment is a surprise for both the performers and the audience!

The grand finale? Polite Mutiny—the 2024 Montreal Improv Threepio winners—will take the stage to wrap up this improv extravaganza with their signature flair.

This is improv like you’ve never seen before, and you won’t want to miss it!
