Swing by for an hour and a half drop-in improv workshop for adults! These exciting drop-in classes are open to improvisers of all levels, whether you're just starting out or you want to hone your skills. Practice makes perfect and this weekly workshop will get your head back in the game, introduce new concepts and give you the workout you need to keep moving forward in improv!

ALL LEVELS WELCOME / BEGINNERS TO EXPERIENCED / AGE 18+
Workshops will be taught by experienced improvisers/teachers, and will be held in Studio B. These drop-ins are instructed in English and tend to fill up fast. Registration is highly recommended to reserve your spot, and it's best to do so on Monday or Tuesday.

$15 IN ADVANCE VIA E-TRANSFER / OR / $20 IN PERSON BEFORE CLASS IF SPACE REMAINS.

Three teams of talented improvisers face off against the element of surprise in this one night only holiday spectacular!

Will they get the Easy Bake Oven they’ve always dreamed of?

Or will this year end with coal?

There's only one way to find out!

Our show is a natural extension of the workshop. A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform, including Sandi Armstrong, Alain Mercieca, Heidi Lynne Weeks, Maité Sinave, Mariana Vial, Adalia Pemberton, Solly Krygier-Paine, Kristina Guevarra, Mason Persaud, Shanthony Exum, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit, which is the backbone to improv.

Always entertaining, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

Then join us for A Very Merry Spliffmas, where your funniest 4/20 stories become holiday-infused improv magic!

Our cast of cheerful, slightly elevated improvisers will take your yuletide mishaps, high-spirited adventures, and wonderfully hazy memories, and turn them into a night of hilarious, heart-warming comedy.

And yes—expect weed-themed carols, joyful chaos, and plenty of holiday cheer.

Please note, this show does not encourage smoking cannabis at the venue / or in general. However, some of our performers will be under the influence and it will be hilarious! (You are welcome to join their elevated status.)

Much ado about Christmas. All the Bard, all the bells, all improvised

Hark! Bardbarella doth present a yuletide tale most wondrous and strange. From a single suggestion springs forth a fully improvised Shakespearean comedy set amidst Christmas revelry.

Watch as courtly intrigue tangles with holiday tradition, as lovers pine beneath the mistletoe, and as fools make merry in iambic pentameter. With all the wit of the Bard and the warmth of the season, this improvised performance brings together tragic misunderstandings, joyous reunions, and enough theatrical flair to fill the Globe Theatre twice over.
