Our musical makeover of the classic longform “Harold” structure is hitting the festival stage! Watch as the ensemble weaves seemingly unrelated ideas, themes, and characters into a whole joyous, fully improvised musical performance.

Our show is a natural extension of the workshop. A regular rotation of some of Montreal’s most talented improvisers always perform, including Sandi Armstrong, Alain Mercieca, Heidi Lynne Weeks, Maité Sinave, Mariana Vial, Adalia Pemberton, Solly Krygier-Paine, Kristina Guevarra, Mason Persaud, Shanthony Exum, Nicky Fournier and Jeremy Lewis . On top of having seasoned improvisers, we also have the new birds that walk in for the first time and steal the show. You could just literally show up and get thrown in the fire of a live show with no script! It has led to many amazing walk-in, home run hitters and creates an awesome “anything can happen” spirit, which is the backbone to improv.

Always entertaining, Sunday Night Improv promises a good time for audiences who are welcome to contribute to the show through their suggestions and voting.

What do you get when you merge Musical Theatre and Improv Comedy? Musical Improv! Players will create mini musicals right before your eyes, based on the audience’s suggestions. We’ll be wowed and serenaded by two ensemble casts who will heal your hearts and break their legs.

Swing by for an hour and a half drop-in improv workshop for adults! These exciting drop-in classes are open to improvisers of all levels, whether you're just starting out or you want to hone your skills. Practice makes perfect and this weekly workshop will get your head back in the game, introduce new concepts and give you the workout you need to keep moving forward in improv!

ALL LEVELS WELCOME / BEGINNERS TO EXPERIENCED / AGE 18+
Workshops will be taught by experienced improvisers/teachers, and will be held in Studio B. These drop-ins are instructed in English and tend to fill up fast. Registration is highly recommended to reserve your spot, and it's best to do so on Monday or Tuesday.

$15 IN ADVANCE VIA E-TRANSFER / OR / $20 IN PERSON BEFORE CLASS IF SPACE REMAINS.

The mission is in your hands. Ten audience members are recruited as SPIES to deliver missions to our cast of talented improvisers. If the improvisers succeed, they win a clue to solve the riddle, if they fail, well TOO BAD SO SAD.Will they crack the code before their time runs out or will they have NO CLUE?

Le Grand Yes And! is Montreal’s festival of unscripted brilliance, a joyful celebration of improv in all its forms. From fast-paced shortform to poetic longform, musical madness to genre-hopping experiments, we bring together performers and audiences for five days of spontaneous theatre, comedy, and connection. Whether you're a lifelong improviser or totally new to the scene, you'll find something to laugh at, cheer for, and be inspired by.
