    In Musical Improv Level 1, we’ll start to practice improvising music within structures that will make you look like a magician on stage. We will learn the basics of creating songs and applying them to improvised musical scenes. This is a fun and collaborative class where we build skills together as an ensemble, with ongoing direction and feedback to help you improve. This course will provide you with the initial training and foundational skills needed to begin building a strong musical improv practice.
    No prerequisite, Musical Fun Times is recommended.

  • Musical Improv Level 3

    The Wiggle Room 3874 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

    In Musical Improv Level 3, you’ll put all the pieces together to build long-form, narrative musicals. You’ll learn how to improvise a complete musical theatre comedy show with a linear story structure, using all the skills you’ve developed so far. We will strengthen your scene work, expand your musical repertoire with new song styles, and learn how to tie every element together. The class culminates in a final, improvised mini-musical performance presented to an audience. A second act will follow: an audience jam where people can sign up to play with you on stage!

    Prerequisite: Successful completion of Musical Improv Level 2
